The vehicle in question, a ford f-350 pick up, is normally used to pull a gooseneck trailer. to connect the trailer, the tail gate of the truck must be opened, the truck backed up part way, the tail ate then closed, and the trailer connected. the tail gate is not opened again until the trailer is being disconnected. i followed this procedure, hauled the trailer about 40 miles on interstate highway to its destination and unloaded the trailer. i then was proceeding to park the trailer before unloading the bed of the truck. during a low speed u turn over slightly rough ground, the tail gate of the ford f-350 (which was still towing the goose neck trailer) popped open and fell against the trailer. before i could get the vehicle stopped, the tail gate was bent by the trailer. damage to the tailgate and truck is costing $1750 to repair.

I have a complaint about the 2005 nissan frontier pickup truck. the tailgate does not seal up, in fact there is a gap of over one (1) inch between the bed of the truck and the tailgate when the tail gate is closed. there is also a gap of about a half inch on each side of the tailgate and the sides of the truck bed. i think this is a safety hazard not to me but to any car that should be following me if i were carrying a load of dirt, sand, or gravel in the bed of the truck. it is highly likely that this material would drop out and could strike a following vehicle causing considerable damage, broken windshields and possible loss of control of the following vehicle. i think nissan should be required to remedy this situation immediately. i have avoided putting such materials in my truck because i am afraid this would happen and i cannot get the use of the truck to haul these type of materials.

Dt*: the contact stated the headlights intermittently shut off for at least one minute. an nhtsa recall, #98v009000 was performed on the vehicle concerning, the exterior lighting: headlights: switch however; the recall did not remedy the problem. the dealership would not offer a second repair without charge under the recall.

1. i purchased a 2005 suzuki forenza on may 18, 2005. from the first month of owning the car the passenger back wheel had been trembling. i paid over $600 replacing tires and napleton suzuki could never find what was wrong. 2. on may 5, 2006, i was driving my car and the passenger back wheel broke, and the strut, axel, and barring broke. i had to pay $1033.00 out of pocket expenses because suzuki would not cover what happened under my warranty that i paid $2500 when purchasing the car. my car was in no accident and suzuki would not hear me out. 3. nothing has been done to fix my problem, suzuki sent me questionnaire to complete and that was it.

I have a 2003 saturn vue. since i purchased this vehicle, i have now had 5 wheel bearings replaced, one per wheel and 2 on passenger front side. the first 4 were covered under warranty but the last one cost $410 to have replaced. i complained about the cost and since i had each wheel bearing replaced at the dealership, they only charged me 25% of the cost. five wheel bearings in 3 years in not a very good record. i would like to have this issue researched because, to me, it seems that it is either a lemon or a recall item.

On the afternoon of the 25th day of may in the year 2006, my wife and myself were driving down i-5 sb to mamc for her hospital appt. we were then involved in a multi-car accident off next to the off ramp of exit 123. we tried to slow down in time before noticing the just wrecked vehicle in front of us and my abs in my 2006 kia spectra sx did not engage, my tires then locked up and i skidded and slid into the stopped vehicle. we hit them doing approx. 35-45 mph and smashed in the front of our car. at that time my airbags (both driver and passenger) did not deploy. there has been no corrective action from the time of the accident.

Dt*: the contact stated while pulling out of the driveway, there was a loud noise that sounded like glass breaking. pieces of plastic shot out from under the vehicle and coolant begin to leak rapidly. a few days prior to the incident, there was a vibration felt in the steering and floor board of the vehicle while driving at any speed. the vehicle was taken to the service dealer who determined the fan exploded, the radiator was punctured and the fan shroud was also damaged. there is an nhtsa recall, 06v199000, regarding the engine and engine cooling: cooling system: fan. the vin was not included in the recall. updated 08/25/06.
